This or That Book Tag

How This Works:

  • Mention the creator of the tag – Ayunda at Tea & Paperbacks
  • Thank the blogger who tagged you – I wasn’t specifically tagged, but I saw this posted by Desiree at Desiree’s Reads
  • Choose one of the two options. You don’t have to explain why you chose what you did, but you are more than welcome to.
  • Tag people – I tag anyone who sees this post and wants to do it too

Reading on the sofa or on the bed?

I will gladly read anywhere. Sometimes I feel like reading on the couch (I tend to not fall asleep as easily there) but sometimes I would prefer to read in my bed.

Male or female main character?

While I don’t really have a preference, I tend to be able to relate better with female main characters.

Sweet snacks or salty snacks when reading?

No snacks! I find snacking while I am reading to be distracting. I like to get lost in books for hours on end, to the point where I often forget to eat all day long.

Trilogies or quartets?

I feel like trilogies have been very popular so I’m going to say quartets.

First person or third person point of view?

I really love a well written first person point of view.

Reading at night or in the morning?

Reading all day long, duh! But I am more likely to read in the evening, rather than the morning.

Libraries or bookshops?

100000% bookshops. I appreciate libraries but I like to keep my books, so I don’t ever really go to libraries. Unless it’s my own library (AKA my bookshelves).

Books that make you laugh or make you cry?

It might be a little strange, but I really like books that make me do both of these things within the span of a couple of pages. It makes me feel a bit emotionally unstable, but I appreciate an author who is that good at manipulating emotions.

Black or white book covers?

I’m going to go with black, only because I prefer darker color schemes generally.

Character or plot driven stories?

I’ve never really put much thought into this until now. I suppose I would have to say character driven.

If you decide to do this tag too, leave a link to your post in the comments section so I can check it out!
